Executive Team

Tim Hall, Founder, President & CEO
Hall has been a leader in the kids' arena for the last 16 years, in general management, marketing and product development roles. Prior to founding Prime Entertainment he was the Executive Vice President of Cartoon Network (1999-2001), the fast-growing cable TV division of AOL/Time Warner. From 1992 through 1999, Hall was with the Hasbro toy company, last as Senior Vice President over the action figure business. From 1988 to 1992 Hall was in brand management at Procter & Gamble.

Kendal Miller, Vice President of Product Development & Operations
Miller has over ten years of experience developing consumer products in the technology arena. Prior to  joining  Digital Blue, he spent six years managing product engineering efforts at Intel Corporation for  numerous  software titles and hardware devices. He led this area for Intel's "smart toys" business since its inception, and now heads up all aspects of product development, manufacturing, and supporting operations at Digital Blue.

Julie Gibbons, Vice President of Marketing
Gibbons brings 12 years of expertise in licensing and entertainment marketing to Digital Blue. Prior to joining she was the Sr. Director of Cartoon Network Enterprises, where she was responsible for marketing and retail business development of Cartoon Network's original animation such as Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi and The Powerpuff Girls. Before joining Cartoon Network Enterprises, Gibbons was brand manager at MTV Consumer Products.

Lynda Parlato, Controller
Parlato has over 20 years of accounting experience, and prior to joining Digital Blue she was Director of Accounting for Utiliquest, a utility locating provider headquartered in Atlanta. Through Parlato's career she worked in various technology industries for companies such as Hayes Microcomputers, Computer Task Group, and Iterated Systems.

Michael Alford, Vice President of Sales
Alford brings 25 years of professional sales experience in the technology industry.  For the 15 years prior to Digital Blue, he served in various roles at Phillips International, managing sales and marketing in their Consumer Electronics and PC Peripherals business.  Before Phillips, Alford spent 10 years specializing in point of sales technology solutions for the major retailers.

Maria Harvey, CPA, Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Harvey brings valuable experience to Digital Blue from her 17 year career in finance and accounting. Most recently she spent six years as CFO of a software development company culminating in a successful sale to overseas buyers.  Prior to that she served as Vice President & Controller of a $100 million manufacturing company, where she coordinated the issuance of registered public debt.  Her experience includes both manufacturing and technology industries, working with rapidly growing companies and preparing public offerings and filings. Harvey began her career with Deloitte & Touche.

Tim Effler, Vice President of Product Concepts
Effler has been in the creative development business for over 25 years.  As Director of Product Concepts at Hasbro he contributed to many of their most successful lines including Star Wars, Batman and the Jurassic Park toy lines. For 13 years, Tim was also a partner in his own company, SOEDA, Inc., a creative consulting company.  Clients included Mattel, Fisher Price, DreamWorks SKG, Universal Studios, Fox Entertainment and Sony Pictures. His work on Zizzle’s Pirates of the Caribbean toy line won a T.O.T.Y award.

David Harrelson, Vice President of Operations
Harrelson joins the Digital Blue team with over 16 years in operations and sales from two large, publicly-traded packaging companies. He has lived and conducted business in many major U.S. cities and managed operations in Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Portland (ME).  He also managed operations in Monterrey and Mexico City, Mexico. In his sales assignment, he directed a national sales force that called on over 1200 active accounts. Just prior to joining Digital Blue, Harrelson was a vice president at a niche financing business that served publicly-traded home builders in two states. At the height of the housing market, the firm had nearly $100 million in assets under its control. Harrelson has a business degree from The Citadel and an MBA from the University of Georgia.

Kerry Kirkley, Director of Marketing
Seasoned with a diverse background of marketing services, Kerry Kirkley’s background contains a rich focus on the creation and implementation of brand strategy, optimization and customer marketing, portfolio growth and account management.  Prior to Digital Blue, Kerry worked on the agency side, managing the growth of top brands like Coca-Cola, Georgia-Pacific and Barilla.  Kirkely earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Georgia State University and has over 10 years of brand marketing experience.
